PIMS YRC 2016

On June 13-16, 2016, the University of Alberta hosted the 13th annual PIMS Young Researchers Conference (YRC). 

The University of Alberta was pleased to host the 13^th annual PIMS Young Researchers Conference (YRC) in mathematics and statistics from June 13-16, 2016. The 71 early career researchers in attendance had the opportunity to present their research, to gain experience in giving an academic talk, and to build connections within the academic community. This was accomplished by hosting a total of 31 forty-five minute student talks over the four days of the conference, many of which were attended by our plenary speakers, and the two social events of the conference: a barbecue and a conference banquet.
