OMSC 2024

The 2024 edition of the Ottawa Mathematics and Statistics Conference (OMSC) welcomed graduate students from a wide variety of mathematical fields.

In addition to the 19 student presentations, participants enjoyed keynote talks about graph theory, p-adic groups, sampling surveys, and quantum graphs. The conference also included a Three Minute Thesis competition, a professional development workshop, a book sale, and several social events for participants to meet in a less formal setting. The OMSC would not have been possible without the generosity of the CMS StudC and our other sponsors, who also allowed us to cover travel costs of participants from across Canada.
