We are now accepting submissions for the Winter 2023 edition of Notes from the Margin! The deadline to submit has been extended to October 15th, 2023. Do you have summer research that you want to share? Or maybe you have an opinion about math education? Or a fun math puzzle? If you want to write about it we want to read it!

Notes from the Margin is the publication of the CMS Student Committee, and we accept articles with topics ranging from original research, expository articles, math puzzles, discussions on career and academia, math history, and opinion pieces.

After a brief hiatus, the CMS student publication Notes from the Margin will be returning in June 2023! All mathematics students are encouraged to submit articles, in English or French. Topics range from original research, expository articles, math puzzles, discussions on career and academia, math history, and opinion pieces. StudC is always on the lookout for opinion pieces, math-related stories, concise research-related articles, as well as puzzles and riddles for the Distractions page. We accept articles written in both English and French from Canadian students. Contact us for further details.
