Call for General Committee Members and Faculty Advisor

The Student Committee is currently accepting applications for General Committee Members and a Faculty Advisor.

This is a unique opportunity for students passionate about mathematics and community engagement to contribute to national initiatives, collaborate with peers across Canada, and help shape the student-focused activities of the CMS. Meanwhile, the advisor’s role provides an opportunity to support and guide a dynamic and enthusiastic team of students engaged in promoting mathematics across Canada.

About the General Member Role:
General Committee Members participate in planning and supporting StudC projects and events, contributing to decision-making, and engaging with the broader mathematical community. Terms typically last two years, and all members must be registered CMS members at the time of appointment.

About the Faculty Advisor Role:
The Faculty Advisor serves as a mentor to StudC, contributing to the continuity, development, and effectiveness of the Committee’s activities. The term of appointment and responsibilities are defined in consultation with the Committee.
