Organize the CUMC

Bidding Process

Studc will solicit bids for the next CUMC immediately following the conclusion of the current conference. Bids will be accepted during the two weeks following the conclusion of that year’s conference.

If you are interested in organizing next year’s CUMC at your institution, please read about the bid process in the CUMC Bid Guidelines document, which details both the application process and how an institution is selected.

Bids must be submitted via this fillable Application Form to the Studc chair(s) (chair-studc@cms.math.ca). To avoid compatibility issues with your preferred PDF reader, please complete the fillable PDF form using Adobe Acrobat Reader, if possible. If you have any issues with the form, please contact the Studc chair(s).

Operations Manual

If you are interested in organizing the next CUMC, we recommend that you check the CUMC Operations ManualThis manual is the product of the efforts of more than a dozen members of past CUMC organizing committees and Studc. Each year, the CUMC is organized by a new team. The goal of this manual is ease the transition from one year’s CUMC to the next. This manual is only a guide and it cannot take into consideration every circumstance; however, we hope that it can still be helpful to future organizers.
