PIMS YRC 2017

On June 5-8, 2017, the University of Saskatchewan hosted the 14th annual PIMS Young Researchers Conference (YRC).

This year, the YRC consisted of 30 student talks, 4 plenary talks, 5 workshops, and a discussion panel. The 61 participants were given an opportunity to share their own research, as well as be exposed to the others’ research from across Western Canada. The workshops allowed participants to learn some new skills as they continue their young research careers. The YRC also featured a barbecue on the opening night and a banquet to top things off on the final night.
